BenMaster is a french DJ from Paris, approaching the djing in an eclectic way, without boundaries of genre or time.

PRÉSENTATION
 

BenMaster est un DJ parisien abordant le djing de manière éclectique, sans frontières de genre ou d'époque.

COURSE
 

In 2015, it was Cergy (95) that started when he joined the Unlock collective, along with DJ Prophet and Queen Ci, to create "Chapeau Melon et Bottes de Queer", a LGBTQ event based at à la Folie de Paris.

​

In 2016, Benoit played in different bars in Paris and later became the resident DJ of the bar The Lab in Bastille.
For nearly two years, he became Artistic Director of The Lab and participated in the discovery of young artists, leading him to create a collective springboard of the same name The Lab, composed of emerging Paris DJs. Thanks to this experience, Ben collaborated many collectives and mixed in Parisian clubs such as Batofar, 4 Elements, Officine 2.0 ...

Since 2017, Ben has also been organizing afterworks mixing street art, DJ sets and hip hop-oriented concerts, in atypical places, in order to promote original and talented artists. He also officiates in these evenings as DJ and back MC in famous places such as Maxam and FAT in Paris.

Le Lab Festival, famous springboard of DJs dedicated to electronic music, recruits Benoit as jury and DJ for the 2018-2019 season , with a residence at Panic Room and Generator Hostel Rooftop Paris.

In November 2018, Ben becomes co-founder of the global label/collective Ǝ L E M E N T S with Ryan Pamatmat, DJ / Producer based in London.
With other international DJs sharing the same vision, they aim to create events around the world using a single universal brand.
The first events took place since January 2019 in Paris, London, Zurich, Manila, Tokyo or Turkey, culminating in a gig alongside the legendary Darren Emerson in December 6, 2019 (Basing House Club London). The following are already scheduled all around the globe for 2022 !

In June 2019, Ben joined the Paris based DOM agency, organizer of events in atypical and famous places such as la REcyclerie; as resident DJ at Paname Afro parties.

​

At fall 2019, the Parisian collective Lexplosive Production welcomes BenMaster to his team as back MC and resident DJ. They will start strong together with a successful participation in the famous Emergenza festival with Tengu; going up to the semifinals at the New Morning in March 2020. This marks the start of a long series of projects and lives planned in Paris and its suburbs.

Following the success of its first year with Lab Festival; Ben is back for the 2019-2020 season as a jury and resident DJ.

​

In August 2020, the bar Les Apaches in Paris recruits Ben to manage the artistic direction and book live collectives, DJs and groups there.

Fall 2020, the Parisian collective Côte d'Usure also welcomes him as a DJ and contributor of projects and artists during Off and On-Line events.
 

His DJ sets and his work of artistic direction have led Benoit to perform too in famous Parisian places such as Cabaret Sauvage, 45 Tours, Petit Bain, A la Folie and more...
But also in other cities and French departments such as Cergy, Cannes, Amiens or Morzine; and beyond French borders with dates at Basing House, Cafe 1001 and Shelter Club (London), Rathaus Café (Zürich), Nokal and Topic (Manila) or W Hotel Downtown (New York).


PARCOURS

En 2015, c'est à Cergy (95) que tout a commencé lorsqu'il rejoint le collectif Unlock lors de sa création, aux côtés de DJ Prophet et de Queen Ci, pour créer "Chapeau Melon et Bottes de Queer", un événement LGBTQ basé à la Folie Paris.
 

En 2016, Benoit joue dans différents bars à Paris, Cergy et Beauvais puis devient le DJ résident du bar The Lab à Bastille.
Pendant près de deux ans, il en est ensuite le Directeur Artistique et participe à la découverte de jeunes artistes, le menant à créer un collectif tremplin du même nom The Lab, composé de DJ parisiens émergents.
Grâce à cette expérience, Ben a collaboré avec de nombreux collectifs et mixé dans des clubs parisiens tels que le Batofar, le 4 Elements, l'Officine 2.0...

Depuis 2017, Ben organise également des afterworks mêlant street art, DJ sets et concerts orientés hip hop, dans des endroits atypiques, afin de promouvoir des artistes originaux et talentueux. Il officie également au sein de ces soirées en tant que DJ et back MC dans des lieux célèbres tels que le Maxam et le FAT à Paris.

Le Lab Festival, célèbre tremplin de DJs dédié aux musiques électroniques, recrute Benoit comme jury et DJ pour la saison 2018-2019, avec une résidence au Panic Room et au Generator Hostel Rooftop.

En novembre 2018, Ben co-fonde le label/collectif international Ǝ L E M E N T S avec Ryan Pamatmat, DJ/Producteur basé à Londres. 
Avec d'autres DJs internationaux partageant la même vision, ils ont pour objectif de créer des événements à travers le Monde en utilisant une seule marque universelle... Les premiers événements ont eu lieu depuis janvier 2019 à Paris, Londres, Zürich, Manille, Tokyo ou en Turquie avec en point d'orgue une date aux côtés du légendaire Darren Emerson à Londres le 6 décembre 2019 (Basing House Club). Les suivants sont déjà programmés tout autour du globe pour 2022 !
 

En Juin 2019, Ben intègre l'agence parisienne DOM, organisatrice d'événements dans des lieux atypiques et réputés tels que La RECyclerie; en tant que DJ résident lors des soirées Paname Afro.
 

Lors de la rentée 2019, Lexplosive Production, collectif Hip Hop parisien accueille BenMaster dans son équipe en tant que DJ et back MC. Ils vont démarrer fort ensemble par une participation à succès au célèbre festival Emergenza, avec Tengu; allant jusqu'en demi-finale au New Morning en Mars 2020. Cela marque le début d'une longue série de projets et de live prévus à Paris et sa banlieue.

Suite au succès de sa première année effectuée avec le Lab Festival; Ben rempile pour la saison 2019-2020 en tant que jury et DJ résident.

En Août 2020, le bar Les Apaches à Paris recrute Ben pour gérer la direction artistique et y programmer des collectifs, DJs et groupes en live.

Rentrée 2020, le collectif parisien Côte d'Usure l'accueille également en tant que DJ et apporteur de projets et d'artistes lors d'événements Off et On-Line.
 

Ses DJ sets et son travail de direction artistique ont amené Benoit à se produire dans des lieux parisiens célèbres tels que le Cabaret Sauvage, le Petit Bain, le 45 Tours, à la Folie et plus encore... 
Mais aussi dans d'autres villes et départements français tels que Cergy, Amiens, Beauvais, Cannes ou Morzine; et surtout au-delà des frontières françaises avec des dates au Shelter, Basing House et au Cafe 1001 (Londres), au Rathaus Café (Zürich), au Topic et au Nokal (Manille) ou au W Hotel Downtown (New York).
